The product

Backup rings are made from hard thermoplastics. In combination with an elastomeric sealing element, they bridge large extrusion sealing gaps in order to withstand pressure peaks, higher operating pressures, and temperatures, even during fast linear movements. To simplify assembly, they are also manufactured in a slotted form.
