The product

Silicone is the name given to a group of synthetic polymers in which silicon atoms are linked via oxygen atoms. Silicones have a unique range of properties that no other plastic can match – in particular, they remain flexible at low temperatures without any significant loss of elasticity. The abrasion resistance of silicone materials is rather low.
