Semi-finished materials by material group

The product

Relevant plastics include polyoxymethylene (POM), polyamide (PA, also known as nylon), hard fabric materials (HGW), and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE). POM, PA, and UHMW-PE are thermoplastic engineering plastics. Semi-finished products made of HGW are usually resin-impregnated textile or polyester fabrics that are wound and cured. These materials are offered as a supplement to classic sealing materials. They are used in guide elements and backup rings. They are characterized by high compressive strength, wear resistance, good emergency running properties, and a low coefficient of friction.
